Contract

The Contract for a short-term lodge holiday shall be made between the Guest and Hillside hideaway snowdonia chalet Ltd. It will be entered into when the deposit is taken. By making a reservation you are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions. The Contract will be subject to the following booking conditions. Hill side hideaway reserve the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time. We also reserve the right to terminate the agreement/booking without refund of money if the behaviour of any guest is considered unacceptable, site rules are broken or if the number of occupants exceeds that stated at the time of booking.
If we don’t hear from you within 48 hours, we will deem that you have read and accepted our terms & conditions.

 

Booking

The Guest making the booking agrees that they are authorised to make this booking on behalf of all persons who shall be renting the property and agrees to take full responsibility for the property and the payment of any rental fees or damages. £50.00 added on top of your invoice and will be used for any breakages or excessive cleaning.

 

Deposit

To secure the property, a deposit of £100 will be taken at the time of booking.
Full balance is due 4 weeks before arrival. Any late payments, or no contact, and the dates will be released to the market again.

 

Payment

Deposit and balance payments can be made by debit card or credit cards online, if you wish to book over the phone, we can only take a debit card payment. 4 weeks prior to your arrival, Hillside Hideaway will send you an email reminder, which you will be able to click on the link to a secure payment page. Credit card payments are not accepted onsite or over the phone.

 

Booking Changes

Any changes to your booking, including a change of date, will only be accepted subject to availability and a £25.00 change.

 

Cancellations

Any cancellation made by the guests, for whatever reason must be on paper or by email. Once the booking has been confirmed the deposit becomes non-refundable. Cancellations should be notified immediately in writing by email. If full payment has been made and we can re-let the lodge, 50% of the balance payment will be carried forward to your next booking within 12 months. If the Chalet is not re-let, no money can be carried forward. If the guests have to cancel their rental, between deposit payment and balance payment, then we will carry the deposit forward for 12 months, the rental will need to be re-booked and taken within this time frame, in this case there will be a £25 admin fee. Hillside Hideaway strongly recommends that the guest takes out insurance against cancellation.
If we are unable to provide the booked holiday and have to make a cancellation before it is due to start due to circumstances within our control, you will be entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid. Hillside Hideaway will not accept liability for any associated costs or compensation.
Hillside Hideaway are not liable for refunds, or expenses you incur, in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, pandemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). Any cancellations for bookings made after 1st April 2020, will not be refunded due to Coronavirus based issues.

 

Check-in & Check-out times

Check-in is from 3pm on the arrival day, if you wish to arrive earlier, please email to check availability.
Check-out: Is strictly by 10am, as we have to turn the lodges around for the incoming guests.

 

What’s included

We supply all the bed linen. The Chalet kitchen is fully fitted and includes all crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. We supply 2 bin liners, some washing up liquid, salt & pepper and a small supply of tea & coffee. The chalet is fitted with a flat screen televisions.

 

Services

Rental charges include bed linen and beds will be made up on your arrival.
The Chalet will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival with clean bed linen. As this is a self contained chalet, please keep the chalet how you would have found it.

 

Occupants and Visitors

The two-bedroom chalet sleep a maximum of Seven people. One bedroom is a double, the other bedroom provides single bunk bed with a pull out guest bed. The sofa in the living area is a pull out double also.

 

WI-FI Access

The park has free WiFi to all customers.

 

Smoking

Hillside Hideaway operates a no smoking policy inside the lodges. Please use ashtrays provided outside.

 

Dog Friendly (max 2 dogs per lodge)

We are an extremely dog friendly park, with on-site walks around the fishing lakes and woodland area. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while on site. We ask that you clean up immediately after your dog so we can maintain the high standard of cleanliness of our site grounds. Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms, bathroom or on the furniture. Dog hair on the furniture could incur an extra cleaning charge.

 

Care of the Property

The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as was found at the beginning.

 

Parking

There is ample of parking spaces around the chalet and park. There is four parking spaces outside the chalet, but this is not a space designated to the chalet its self. But there is plenty of parking around if these are unavailable.

 

Barbeques

Barbeques are welcome but we ask that they are set behind the decking area with a sufficient distance from the wooden chalet. Barbeques are not allowed on the wooden decking, sorry.

 

Right of Entry

We will not normally enter a lodge once let without your agreement, however employees of Hillside Hideaway must be allowed the right of entry to a property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.

 

Site Rules

All occupiers of Hillside Hideaway are expected to abide by the Site Rules, provided in the welcome pack in each chalet, and by these terms & conditions.

 

Data Protection

The information taken at time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing your reservation at Hillside Hideaway. We may process your data to keep you informed of our activities and to keep you updated with news, offers and other information that may be of interest to you.
